John was born in Topeka, Kansas where he grew up and went to high school before moving to Lawrence, Kansas. John has been playing the accordion for 55 years and counting, starting when he was just 8 years old. Accordions are just one thing he never got tired of. John has been working on accordions for over 10 years before he took over Jameco accordion service.
Arch Jameson
Founder
Arch was born in Pittsburg Kansas in 1925. He then moved to Eudora, Kansas in 1947 where he met his wife Doris. Arch worked in the oil industry and retired in 1982. Once retired he started working on his biggest passion, accordions, starting the Jameson accordion service. He recently passed in April 2023, leaving his accordion dynasty with John.
